Since 2008 Steve has been the drummer and one of the composers in Manchester based - Riot Jazz Brass Band.

“Spawning from the Manchester music scene in 2008 and now sucking in members from all over the UK, the Riot Jazz Brass Band is a nine-piece genre-mashing, foot stomping party behemoth bringing the love buzz to ears and feet all over the world.”

The band has played shows all over the World - performing at festivals in Austria, Andorra, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, France, Italy, Spain and Romania; as well as featuring at major UK festivals including: Glastonbury, Womad, Boom Town, El Dorado, Kendal Calling and Love Supreme.

The band featured on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch in 2013 and 2015, and has also been played on BBC Radio 6 by Craig Charles, Huey Morgan and Annie Mac - as well as other radio stations around the world.
